Decorative Painting

With decorative painting, I work with paints, stencils, waxes and venetian plasters. My art can be found in homes, wineries and restaurants throughout the Bay Area.

I love the difference a decorative finish can make in the look of a space! Walls, ceilings, floors, fireplaces, furniture—they’re all blank canvasses to be transformed. In one client’s house, I painted an elevator; in another, I stenciled a scarily high wall; at an event center, I painted an enormous dragon on the dance floor. In my own house, you’ll find a hallway with a silver leaf nook, a white, venetian-plastered wall smooth as glass, and a subtle wax stencil that reveals itself as you move through the space.
